too lazy to turn the page

Click on the title of this post to see another gem I found. This one is a gadget that turns pages for musicians. What a great idea! Why didn't I think of this? I must have been playing video games or sleeping. Oh well, it wasn't the first time and definitely won't be the last!

King James Version of lazy

There are people who would say that the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible is the true, infallible and accurate representation of God's Word. As one who grew up in that tradition, I was a bit confused in high school when the characters of Romeo and Juliet began to sound like the Prophet Elijah and the Apostle Paul. Anyway, that's a long story and it's going to be hard enough to make my point now that I'm spending all this time typing.

I was lying on my bed when I had a brief epiphany. I realized that the word "sloth" in KJV speak, really means "lazy". I didn't grow up Catholic, but I'm vaguely familiar with the Seven Deadly Sins. Not enough to name them, but enough to know that Sloth is one of them. I'd recommend learning about the Seven Deadly Sins by watching Bedazzled (the 1967 version with Dudley Moore). Back in 1997, I had a great computer game called Afterlife. It taught me about the Seven Deadly Sins and the Seven Virtues.

A place to go to learn about Sloth directly is here. I just discovered this site today and it's worth exploring. I'd write about Sloth myself, but it's nice that this author did it instead. It gives me time to go surf the net some more.

too lazy to get a beer

I discovered a new and wonderful gem of modern technology. Observe.

too lazy to flush a toilet

Since I spend a lot of time on the Internet, I often encounter interesting -- and not-so-interesting -- things.

Today I came across a gadget made from a LEGO robot that can be used to automatically flush a toilet. The article states that a manual flush mode is also available, but I say no way! You can read about it here: Too Lazy to Flush a Toilet

older, wiser, lazier

On Sept. 30, I turned 33. I was too lazy to worry about posting that day, so you can be lazy about wishing me well.

My friend Tony, and his wife, Monica, gave me a great gift: a tribute to my laziness. They gave me a t-shirt. Now, a t-shirt in and of itself isn't lazy. That's determined by a couple of factors: (a) what one does while wearing the t-shirt, and (b) what the t-shirt says.

The t-shirt says it all. I'll change the question mark to an exclamation point if you bring me another margarita.

Thanks, Tony & Monica!
